i'm only 11, but i have my period. is that ok? and does it hurt to tear ur hymen?

and i play traveling fastpitch softball almost all year round. i heard that thats how you can tear it, and i live on a lake so i so alot of water sports a lot.

That is fine to start your period so young, I started at 10 years old. To be honest i dont remember tearing my hymen. I think it was during sports. Usually your too involved at the time to realize it.

yeah gettting your period at 11 is normal alot of girls get it that early. and u shouldent worry about if it hurts to tear ur hymen your to young and shouldent be worrying about that u need to go talk to you mommy about that stuff not strangers. and u shouldent be haveing sex till your married anyways. your 11 y/o g be an 11 y/o little girl and quit tring to grow up so fast you got the rest of your life ahead of you and by having sex now u never know what STD's you will get and condoms dont always work cause the aids cell is smaller then a sperm cell and an aids cell can go threw a condom. so i would not worry about ur hymen or anything elts along that line for now. and just think if u do have sex would u or the father be able to take care of a child and u whould probably be ding it on ur own cause at ur age the dad wouldent stick around and u would lose the baby cause u have no way to take care of the baby. and family is not always there to help out. so i would stick to abstanance if i were u. and if u have any further questions you should go ask your mother. and go be a kid ur only a kid once and u shouldet throw it away. and trust me i know i had a childhood taken away from me.

You are fine having your period at 11. I got mine at 10. It does hurt to tear your hymen. You shouldn't worry about that for a long time.

OF COURSE! its okay it just means that you are becoming a woman(lady).And that you are going through puberty earlier then some of the other gurlz and that you might as well be on the verge of it while other girls are just getting theirs.Well it depends some girls feel a lot of pain and others dont really it just depends.Im 10 and my breasts are going i was so scared because me and this other girl were the only ones and mine are kinda big and i always used to hide them,but my friend said its okay because u are just forming before any of the other girls are and you are ahead of most of your friends so dont be scared and yeah so dont worry about it at all! hope this advice works for you

You are on the early end...but it does happen anytime after 10 up to about 15 that woman have their first period. It is a mark in your growth and maturity. Enjoy! If a young woman is active in sports, the hymen has often torn by natural activity. If it hasn't and is strong, it can have discomfort.

yes its normal to get ur period at that age. most girls in america start at 12 or 13 but a majority of african american girls start when they are 9. i got my period when i was 10. and it depends. some girls dont feel their hymen being teared but for others it hurts alot.

It is perfectly normal. I case of doubt, there are free 1-800 lines for health question. Maybe there is also helps at school for that (like an educator or something like this...)
Any way, that is normal around 10-14 even later or before sometimes

yes its perfectly normal to get your period at 11. and it does hurt to tear your hymen. if you are asking that because you are thinking of having sex, remember that if you have your period, you CAN GET PREGNANT!! no protection is 100% effective so remember that, you are too young for that. if you are asking the second question because you are thinking of using tampons, it is a little uncomfortable to use them at first, but you'll get used to it.

I got mine when I was 10.... i'm 17 now and eveything's fine. I'm even 3 months pregnant. You'll be ok. Take something for the cramps. Use a pad at first... or at least I would.

Your fine. I didn't get mine until I was 13. And it was exactly on my 13th bday! And to tear your hymen, no that doesn't hurt. Congrats on becoming a little lady!
