My son is going to Singapore on 3 years assignement. He is single?

Can any one advise how will it be compared to NewYork , cost of living ,social and from other points of view. Any one living in Singapore please contact me

He would need at least 3500 SgDollars just to survive, 4500 SgDollars to be happy and 8000 SgDollars will get u a daughter in law quick. An apartment is about 700 SgDollars upwards, while a condominium might be 1500 SgDollars.

Transportation is about 60 SgD a month on the Metro. Get a IP card valued at 10 SgD to call overseas.

Singapore is also highly Chinese biased. So unless he's very good looking and rich, being non chinese would make him continue to be single
