The Boot.ini file must be looking for it upon startup. Go to start, then run, type in msconfig. Click the boot.ini button. If it references it in there just delete it. If not, go to www.majorgeeks.com and download a free copy of "Remove it Pro XT - SE. It is free to use and quickly identifies many virus and trojan files.
