When Jesus lived there was crime and police.
When sins and ignorance were alleviated the police were called in by the Sanheddrin.
A noticeable and ongoing crime was nipped temporarily.
However the perpetrator of peace and humanity was crucified due to the fact that crime is government. At its rudimentary origins justice was crudely applied. Nowadays all politicians want to succor to Jesus as if the crime they continuosly commit doesn't get them payed. Rudy and the Police need crime not terrorism. The latter (911) would be like nailing Jesus to the cross. Everyday someone gets innocently nailed to a cross of judicial burdens due to the same type of Sanhedrin type profiling and ignorance that now begs me to ask you if there was no police would crime have been termed extinguished or would it be a secret 4rth amendment breaching type police government that could crucify you at its whim. Perhaps the crime is a trickle down effect of overpopulation.

There will always be crime.

A crime is something that you can do that someone, with the power to prevent it, does not want you to do.

Good or Bad has no bearing on the issue.

Since its impossible for all to agree on everything there will always be police to stop you from doing something.

The most effective police is in the heart and mind of the citizen.

Chew on that one for a while.

The only way to get rid of crime is to get rid of ownership. All laws are to protect my stuff from you. Without ownership there is no need for police to shoot you for touching my stuff, therefore no need for police.

It all sounds so childish.

I hate the police. They are always around to kick you when you're down. But when you need them and someone breaks into your house and steals you life. Where are they; I think Anarchy would be safer than corrupt cops.

If you are a cop reading this... blow me.

someone has to be there when there is an accident, to keep the flow of traffic going.

and when there is a disaster, who will direct people to safety?

they dont just arrest the criminals, they help people when things get hairy.
