Well, I have a straight male friend with the same issue. From what I've noticed it is two fold. First he is a big flirt, to everyone! Most straight guys don't notice it, but the gay guys do and they flirt back and so do the straight girls. My lesbian friends notice it and find it annoying actually. He is also very attractive and confident. So the gay guys of course are just as attracted to him as the straight girls, and due to his confidence they usually don't think anything wrong with flirting back because they figure that he is pretty secure in his sexuality. So they hit on my friend and flirt back, etc, but they already know that nothing is going to happen. So don't worry about it. Consider it a compliment that gay men and straight women find you attractive and flirt and hit on you. That's what my friend does (although not to the point that he has a huge ego, he's confident, but not egotistical)

I'm guessing by your question that you have gay friends or hang out at gay friendly places - you said you're straight and they know it. I don't know how they would know you're straight unless they already knew you or you are wearing a badge that says "I'm straight". Anyway, some people like a challenge - gay and straight - so maybe that's why they hit on you. Also, maybe you are leading them to believe that they have a chance at dating you and don't even know it. All in all it's a compliment they find you attractive...your just a hottie and can't help it!

Could it be, just maybe, that your cute or kinda sweet. That's a tough answer to give without knowing or observing you. I would have to wonder why you hang around gay guys that hit on you if you are truly straight and don't like it. Could be they are thinking the same thing. huh

You could be very cute, or just a great guy that everyone wants to be friends with, not all gay guys want sex but friendship regardless of the persons sexuality.

They see you and think hmm I bet I can have him if I just try hard enough. Oh yeah they also must be picking up something about you, are you sure you are 100% straight you must be setting off the gaydar.

it is a fantasy for many gay men to have sex or just be in a relashonship with a straight guy. if you play sports, then maybe it is seeing you sweat that turns them on.

Don't know, but I've been hit on at least twice by gay men, so I know where you're coming from.

*shrug* probably the same reason that straight women threw themselves at me for years and years -- they knew the same things, they did the same things -- I don't know what else to tell you.
