Depends on make/model. Newer vehicles require EPA certified equipment from a certified manufacturer by a certified installer. Such install is $7-10k

Some older models may be field converted. Check with your local propane company to see if they know of a conversion center locally.

depends on a bunch of stuff. What truck? Petrol or Diesel, how much can you do yourself? You can build your own kit, only need propane tank, regulator and carb spacer/spraybar. May have to do a few engine mods depending on age mileage of truck and disconnect or have switchable electric fuel pump

I don't know where the guy lives that sent the prior answer -but most places it would have to be installed by a licensed propane person--it used to cost about $1000. for a car-now ?????
