I personally like both bands. The only songs right now that I like from Avenged Sevenfold are "Beast and the Harlot" and "Bat Country" and those are from their latest album. I haven't heard any of their old stuff yet. But, Green Day on the other hand. I have heard a lot more Green Day. American Idiot is by far my favorite album.
So if I have to pick between those 2 bands I have to say Green Day all the way!!!!!!!!
