If I were you I would apply at other jobs. Don't quit your job until you are hired somewhere else. I use to work at a resturaunt. I know how it is. I worked for a person like that before. One time she even yelled at me when I was making conversation/waiting on a customer. That's just my advice to you. Hope it gets better.

Try to find another job - things will not change unless the owner gets a new boyfriend and fires the manager. Taking retribution is immature.

stay put. get a recored or something and document his actions. call in the reserves, alcohol licenser, health inspector, and ambush him when he least expects it. his troubles will cause problems for the ENTIRE restaurant especially the owner at which point she'll fire him or go out of business. it's like chess baby, don't jump at every chance, wait until you're ready to strike.

Place an anonymous call to the health inspector. If its not up to code, bust them for it! I would try to find a new job if management isn't helping much....
Good Luck

File a complaint or grievance, but I would definitely look for another job. There is always another job and if you are not happy at your current position look elsewhere.
