In the OT, animal sacrifice was made to cover sin. Since Christ, there are no more animal sacrifices. Animal blood could only COVER sin, not remove it.
Jesus perfect sacrifice allows us to come to God. He paid the price so we would not have to.

He didn't! Sorry, but there is too much knowledge being printed today that has archeological proof that Jesus was still alive in 45 AD. No man can save us from our sins! We are all subject to the Law of Sewing and Reaping, called Universal Law or the Law of Karma. Doesn't it say thou should not have intercessor between thee and God? I do believe so! There is only "ONE" Creator. When asked by the Pharisees what is the greatest law! His reply was:"Hear oh Israel the Lord of God is "ONE" Jesus knew there was only one Creator that communicates with Man through the Holy Spirit and Mind. One Creator, One Law,Universal and One Mind, the Mind of the Creator. This has always been the original Teaching until Constantine came along and fabricated the Christian Religion

I am not aware of any scientifically valid evidence to reasonably demonstrate that Jesus even existed. We have books that say he did...just like we have books that say Santa Claus exists...why do we accept the stories in some books as true without any quantifiable evidence while other stories are rejected?
There also appears to be a complete lack of evidence to prove that sin is anything more than what a culture, here Judeo-Christian culture, labels innappropriate or unacceptable behavior.
Anyone that died as result of the torture known as crucifixion specifically during the period of Roman occupation in Judea died because the Romans maintained order of their subjugated territories through sheer brutality.

Because the only way to remove sins was if something pure and innocent died. Like in the OT they used to slaughter animals for the remission of sins. Well, Jesus became that last sacrifice when he went to the cross. He was innocent, he was sinless.

he didnt save our sins...he saved us from the penalty of our sins. Because we sinned we deserved death, that is the punishment for sin. In the Old Testement God demanded the sacrifice of an animal to pay for the sins. When Jesus came and died, he became that ultimate sacrifice. The blood that he shed covered all of the sins of everybody in the whole world if they will sincerely believe that he did that and ask him to forgive them and dedicate their lives to him

I believe the story goes that because he was resurrected, that man could then ask him for forgiveness from sin as a supernatural being after that. A real biblical scholar should probably answer this one, you're gonna get a ton of replies from people who wouldn't know codex B from the King James version, unfortunately.

God set forth a system of blood sacrifice in atonement for sin in the Old Testament. I believe this was ultimately to demonstrate the severity of sin and to point toward Christ's redemption. Christ's death provided perfect atonement for all sin because of who He was (and is). The perfect, sinless, Son of God.

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believed in Him could have everlasting life. Jesus was the sacrifice for our sins. We go through him for forgiveness from the Father to obtain everlasting life.

Jesus came for the sinner not the sin. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Also the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. No one can talk you into slavation, for if they could the devil will soon send someone else to talk you out of it. I suggest you get on your knees, humble your heart before God, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you through His word. If you are honest He will bring you to the truth, and that truth is Christ Jesus. He will not turn no honest heart away.
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (Ephesians 2:4-8 NKJV)
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:11-15 NKJV)

He didnt save our sins, He saved us FROM our sins. we all would've been required to hang on a cross because we sinned, but He sent His Son to do it so we didnt have to.
