It depends, if she's only with women because she doesn't have any luck with men then I think it's wrong and degrading to lesbians. If, however, she considers herself a lesbian because she is genuinely attracted to females, in all aspects of attraction, then it's fine. A lot of lesbians are with men before they discover their true sexuality. But if a woman just decides to date women because she is tired of men then it's wrong, because she doesn't have any feeling in the relationship and it hurts her partner when the truth is revealed.

lets get to the point first. A lesbian is a woman who prefers women. Well, if u think about it a woman can natrually prefer women, or in ur case got bored and disgusted with men and switched to women. Generally i would fell that is disgusting from a guy's point, (dating girls and in the end making out with a guy). But, yes, its fine, just a little disturbing.

No, I know people like that. If the woman is dating another woman she can call herself a lesbian. If she is still thinking of dating men she would be bi.

I would think it is a bit silly, since that woman is obviously not a lesbian but a bisexual.
But honestly, you can call yourself whatever you like. No skin off my nose if you want to say you're a lesbian or a chicken or whatever. I'll just continue to think it is a bit silly to purposely use an label I would call obviously incorrect.

Why do all these labels for people matter...lesbian,gay, bi..etc? Let people love who they chose and date who they want and just disregard labels..that's so mainstream society. As long as people are happy with who they are with, that's all that matters. If a person wants to label themselves then so be it and just accept them for what they want to be called. But overall society should move away from such labels because it forms such generalizations and stereotypes, which is known all too well in the gay community.

The past questions ive read are about lesbians and gays... Is everyone goin on that trend? huh?...
anyway to answer your question... Nope.. that doest necessary imply... when frustration sets in.. we go through so much desperation to feel love and belongingness.. in your situation.. don't give up on guys... there still some guys who are worthy of you.. some are just stupid to have caused you problems... the love you recieve from a guy is still different to what you get from women.

There is nothing wrong with being a lesbian and change sides. But you still have interest in men than your not a lesbian your a bi-sexual.

She might be confused...
With all that problems with men she might think she'd rather date women, but that doesn't really tells if she is or not lesbian, that's something she have to find out with her own heart

I think lesbian refers to the fact that she prefers women to men. Many women have once been "straight" then went the other way and consider themselves lesbian.

If she doesnt have sex with men anymore and is exclusive to women...she's a lesbian and she was born that way...it just took her a bad expirience with men to make her see it...
If she still likes men, then she is Bi...(yes, that IS a sexuality)
If she's just using "lesbian" to cover up her own heterophobia, then she's straight...
