im not talking about those real real real obviously fake, ugly bright green grass. im talking about those fake grasses that look actually real and have different tones of green to make it seem more realistic. so my question is, what have been your experiences with it? what were the advantages and disadvantages of having them? i mean i can imagine myself laying on it not having to worry about ants crawling up my hair or dirt getting on me, i know they are pretty costy, but were there any good and bad points of it?

i haven't actually had it myself but i have heard of people having them, and they look great for a while. but here are some points.
#1 there is still dirt under it so ants can infest it like reg. lawns, (and there are many pests that may actually eat or use the lawn material for nests) but it is more diffocult to get rid of them on "fake " grass
#2 dirt, leaves, pests are still going to be there, and you can't get rid of them even if you pave the ground
#3 the expense is high, a pro has to install it, and there is some maint. needed to keep it together,(it is like carpet and seams can appear)
#4 it can be nice to not have to mow it, but u need to use a blower and pick up debris.
#5 it can have (depending on the type and brand) fade resistance chemicals, but some fading will occur like vinyl siding does over time.

definite. Scared the heck out of myself. became in 1965 action detection lighting fixtures turned right into a clean element, sneaked out with one in each of dads beers from the refrigerator, pooof the lighting fixtures fixtures got here on, dropped the beer, ran like hell into the mattress, hid less than the sheets like no longer me.

No but the artificial grass does look good. No mowing but costly and it will eventually wear out.

No, I wouldn't know anything about them. But it sounds like a good idea. I would probably play a lot of golf if I had one.
