the smalle the town and the further west you go, the people get friendlier. in my small town in oregon, if you pass someone on the street, you say hi or smile and nod or at least acknowledge the person. this doesn't happen baclk east i've noticed. i've smiled at strangers in virigina and they look at me like i am a piece of doo.
and radiohead is awesome!

I see that the more friendly people live in small towns and everyone knows each other. But I do have to say that these are the people that are not open to having new stores or new people in their town. The people that live in big cities are the ones that do seem rude but they are just to preoccupied with what is going on in their life to take a deep breath and realize what is going on around them. If someone notices you smiling at them then it is likely that they will smile back because smiles are contagious. I believe it is about 35% of Americans that are knowingly rude.

it is a worldwide long previous loopy with courtroom circumstances and political correctness. it is likewise grow to be a worldwide the situation human beings are greater possibly to do regardless of they pass with socially and image they could harm out with it. the toddlers ARE being punished in a manner for exhibiting their actual affection for human beings. All we could be waiting to do as adults is make sparkling to them approximately there being a time and an section (and no, the lads slapping the girls' backsides isn't hugging, and it does no longer count variety variety that those particular women like it. yet could desire to they be charged with sexual attack? good heavens)... If we coach toddlers that unquestionably convenience, hugs and affection are no further to be allowed, then we are unfavorable our very own destiny. The overreaction is from people who're terrified of the international starting to be an fairly frightening place... which, in some innovations, it has.

Much depends on where you are in the country. Granted, with the illegal problem, a bit of suspicion is probably going to creep in. Most of us will still accept others at face value, as long as there is no reason not to do so.

I think it depends on where you are located. But on average I would say 66.6% or 2/3rds.
