It doesn't matter what it is: if you're doing it and your wife doesn't know, that's a big danger zone. Problem. Even if it's not cheating, he's set himself up to be accused, which means he's a bit of an idiot.

I think it is a good indication as well. I believe when you are married you can have friends of the opposite sex; however when you try to hide the fact that you have friend of the opposite sex it indicates that that person is trying to hide something. If there was nothing to hide then the person should have no trouble telling is spouse; even if there is nothing to hide and the person still kept itas a secret then somone should explain to him how keepoing this hushed looks and houw much it hurts the spouse's feelings.

No it's not cheating! But you should talk to him about keeping things from you he shouldn't do that if he's your husband he shoudl be open and honest with you if he really loves you. Find out if there is anything going on between them and let him know that you are not playing any games with him.

Yep. If their "friendship" was all on the up -and-up, there's no need for a secret.

My husband has a number of female friends, and I make a point of asking about them, meeting them, becoming friends with these other women in his life.

I want them to be aware that I am posessive of our relationship, that I am very protective of my marriage. When it comes to women in my husband's life, they are all 2nd fiddle to me!! This may come across as a little b**ch-y, but he IS married to me...

If there was nothing wrong going on, then why didn't he tell his wife about her? If you are in a marriage then there shoudl be no need to hide things from each other, especially not friends. If you are hiding friends then you must feel guilty about having them!:)

Yes, it seems likely that he's cheating. He doesn't have to stop being friends with women when he's married, but he needs to be honest with his wife. No smoke without a fire...

Not necessarily but in this situation I would be leary because, if nothing is going on, why hasn't he mentioned this chick before? She's OBVIOUSLY a very good friend, if the baby is talking about her. That sounds shady to me.

what does her "gut feel" say? if yes, then believe that he is. if no, drop the whole notion and be the person that she is. remember the adage: what goes around, comes around. if he is cheating, let karma find its way.
