Yes. Why keep these sort of people in the relative luxury of a modern day prison( ok some of the non western countries aside), at the tax payers expense. Rope, Bullet , swor, who cares, if someone did in my other half, I'd be glad to pull the trigger myself.

I believe that death by painless injection as in some states of the USA is right for some crimes. Horrific crimes such as the abduction and murder of children where the evidence is incontrovertible would seem to fit. I believe that hanging is barbaric; I also believe that all murders should be 'fast tracked' both in the trial and the execution of the guilty verdict. It seems to me that we should consider the suffering of the perpetrator of the crime; as well as the victim and undue delay prolongs that suffering.

An eye for an eye seems plausible. BUT, the real issue is the legal system finding guilt in the innocent. A lot of people have been killed that did not do anything.

i personally don't agree with the death penalty, there are too many things to consider. an innocent person convicted for a crime they did not commit, how about a woman who murders a husband who rapes and beats her? would she still get the death penalty?
saying that, i know that if anyone were to harm any of my family i would want the to suffer. so therefore i can not begrudge anyone else the same for their family.

Yes I do, but for this to be carried out you would have to be 100% sure that you have the right person, with out doubt, and that they fully understood what they were doing.
If the answer to both of these is yes then KILL them,
but if the answer is not sure, or only 99% sure then you would be as guilty as those who stand accused

i personally dont believe in death penalty because think about it. If a murderer gets killed because he's a murderer well now u dont have one murderer but two. so to end murder society shouldnt use the death penalty because that just makes them one of them. god how i hate society. the end.

How about setting them free, O.K. maybe dye them luminous orange first just so that everyone knows who they are or what they have done. I bet most would volunteer for the death penalty!
