i have an inground pool with a tritan tr60 there are two shut off valves im not sure which one to turn off and on when i have no pressure on gauge and air must be in line because when i vaccume it shoots back and no suction occures

The valves you are referring to are installed by the builder and are not part of the filter . Typically they control the skimmer and main drain. But there are lots of options there. Best advice I can give is to hire a service company to come out and give you a "driving lesson" on your pool. It will make a lot more sense once you understand how the water flows and so forth. Better than groping in the dark.

Google Tritan pool filter system and you should be set. Print off the instructions for further use. Good luck

Call the manufacturer. The lable is on the filter system.
He will have distributors that can help you.
