Mystery shopper is certainly not online, as you're required to visit stores. Try freelancing or finding some projects to do at elance.com or rentacoder.com. Sometimes the job is as simple as writing a couple of articles on topics you know about.

Mystery Shopper jobs are for the most part not real. There are a few that are real but if isn't going to give you a full-time salary and they aren't much fun. Also be careful because most online jobs are very fraudulent - if it mentions anything looking like a pyramid scheme run don't walk because they are illegal! Amway/Quixstar is one of the only legal online jobs out there but it is mostly networking but there products are actually good!

Like one of the other answers said, Quixtar is a good one. I am in it, and personally know that it takes a while to get a steady income coming in, but it is well worth it. My friend is through Quixtar in thesame businees as I am called The TEAM (together everyone achieves more) and he is QUITE successful. It took him a couple years to get where he is, but it is worth it. Him and his wife are both retired (in their 30's) from being therapists. Good luck!!!!!!

It's better to start your own business online rather than to jump into something you are unsure of. If you are looking for ideas, I picked up an ebook that this site offers and it really is helping me. Maybe you too.

Check out some of the online job search engines. they oftentimes will list jobs that allow work from home or flextime.

If you like to shop around for bargain items, I would look around to find a bargain items online and offline, and resell them on Ebay.
