I am sitting here listening to this show and I cant believe how this guy is spinning reality. I see why this stuff is so popular. I wonder if Nazi propaganda was this mind numbing?

I think the problem with ALL talk radio is that the hosts often have quite a bit of speculation and a mass of opinion but often their talk is totally baseless. I've listened to michael savage before, for example, and the man never quotes a single fact. All of his banter is based on his own previous opinions which seem to be based on sterotypes or typical republican bias.

For example "Hillary Clinton is the devil" no explination of WHY he feels that way, just that he does. I think that it is just mindless rallying for party lines. People just hear him and go "this is a charasmatic guy who hates Hillary Clinton, I guess I hate her too. It doesn't inspire people to THINK.

Also it is funny how savage specifically is always talking about how his listeners are smarter than average, how they think about issues, but he never gives them things to think about, just spits out the same sterotypically biased conclusions without giving any kind of concrete facts.

Yes, I often get the urge to hit my head with the palm of my hand and say, "Wow, I wish I had known about that earlier".

I don't actually do it though. I'm usually driving and that would be dangerous.

Keep listening. You might learn how to ignore your emotions long enough to look at the facts in a situation and come to a logical conclusion.

Nazi propaganda was based on bringing people together with a common enemy. Conservatives are brought together through a common love. We love this country and want it to be safe and prosper.

If you really want to hit yourself in the head you may have a compulsion disorder.

When I listen to liberals sometimes (except Al Franklin, who is FUNNY!) I might want to hit the liberal speaking.....No, I take that back. I don't want to hit anyone. Why should I be bothered by what anyone SAYS. Especially politics.

I sometimes like to hit myself in the head with a VHS tape in its cardboard case. It is funny, and the tape is so springy you could hardly hurt yourself if you tried.

On second thought I have decided that your implying you'd like to hit a conservative is just a figure of speech. What you are really saying is: "Those people are SO WRONG! I find it frustrating.:" In that case, why bother forming the thought? Live and let die (whoops, no, that's a McCartney song).

Anyway, like the guy said: Don't sweat the small stuff. If you start counting, you will find that it is mostly small STUFF.

I had Rush on this morning and Hannity on this afternoon. Thank goodness both are over! Rush couldn't put his head any farther up his @ss and Hannity will put the mute button on when he disagrees with the caller or guest. I listen to them to get an idea of how the other side thinks, but much prefer Air America. Ed Schultz is up next.

It's been said to me more than once that I do not listen to rightwing media. I think the fact that I do intimidates people. Perhaps, those who feel they know every aspect of my life are frustrated by the fact that they have been brainwashed into listening to only one media source. The fact that I see both sides threatens them. It's okay, little one. You don't know me, and with your debates beginning with an attack, you never will.

I'm glad to hear that you listen to people who you don't agree with. Your job as an information consumer is to listen to various opinions and then make up your own mind. All of those guys on the left and right spin the story. If you only listen to people who agree with you then you'll never learn anything.

Which guy, Michael Savage? I think he missed his medication at dinner last night...for about the last 12 years...LOL I hear you though, some of these people on the radio these days, conservatives included, have, for all intents and purposes, 'lost it'. Use the off switch, it's less painful....there's web-radio, too. I like hearing it all in Japanese, I don't understand a word! LOL

No, what's worse is the likes of Al Franken and other failing liberal talk radio hosts and THEIR spin on reality. If you listened to them, you'd think we had no enemies and that the whole world is peaches and cream and a bowl of cherries. And that we, the U.S. is the enemy and not people like Saddam Hussein, North Korea and Iran...etc., etc.

Yes!
I do, however, like to watch and listen to things like Rush, and Fox News from time to time, merely for the entertainment value. It's actually funny to listen to these people rant and rave about such bias points of view! No one in their right mind could actually believe the majority of the crap they feed people, most of the time.
It is sad, however, that American people feed into this garbage, allowing for the revenue, and allowing these organizations to profit from this crap! But I can't argue with freedom of speech and the freedom of the press... It's still sad though.

you are beggining to see the truth and liberal radio shows do the same thing its like everyone finds the stupidest person to represent the opposing veiw .With people polrized what kind of country do we have. When we all come togheter can we solve our common problems . That would make to much sense and with 95% of the people around me being absolute fools ,doing anything becomes impossible.

Feel free hit yourself in the head for me. Most CNN newscast & other liberal shows make me feel the same way. I have a better education than to hit myself in head. It just depends on what side of the aisle you sit on. Obviously, Hillary is next to you & I sit with the President.
