There is no solution to racism and violence. Basically, we've not only done as much as we can, but government has gone too far and is engaging in racism against majorities.

If a minority wants to get a job or get into a college, they get extra points no matter what their background. Some poor white male with excellent grades has a lower chance of getting the job/scholarship/acceptance than a rich black female (just as an example). Who had the easier life? But that doesn't matter.

If you assault someone who is gay, it's a bigger crime than if you assault a straight person for the exact same reason.

When the government condones racism and bigotry against people who are white, heterosexual, and/or male, what does that say about our society? The laws should make it so that everyone has the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness - just like it says in the constitution.

A solution to racism and violence is not within the power of the government. Only individuals can solve these problems.

Ask the people that keep perpetuating 'hyphenated-american' status. The sooner some of our 'minority' groups get OVER themselves, and just find steady WORK, the sooner we'll have less racism etc. The true mark of a professional is that they never judge a book by its' cover, and true liberation means you stop trying to use your skin color/ethnicity as your sole currency in trade.....I'm about tired of people walking around with a chip on their shoulder about their ethnic heritage. If you've ever been out of your home state, you 'get' that skin color doesn't mean jack-****. Buy a clue, buy a suit, and get busy living the life of your dreams, and don't be afraid to dream...just remember to try and make those dreams a reality, as time goes by...

People choose their actions - be those actions conscious or not.

Those that have accomplished much did so by developing self-discipline, working hard, and dedicating themselves to achieving what they did. That action is conscious if the person decides to work towards his or her goal. It is at some level unconscious if the person was naturally in an environemnt that promotes that type of behavior - meaning that acting in this manner is normal as far as they are concerned.

Racism and violence are also choices that we make. People that consciously choose those actions by nature are closed-minded in that regard - they CHOOSE to have little tolerance for others who are not like them. Those that would unconsciously display that behavior would have perhaps been exposed to it all of their lives and were inadvertently taught to be that way. In essence people who display these tendencies have chosen to not rise above this behavior - be it unconscious or not.

The solution perhaps, is to promote the proper attitudes and behaviors in our youth so that these become unconscious actions on their part. In persons who are racial and violent - they themselves would need to recognize their attitudes, become fully conscious of when they are doing it , understand why it is wrong and why they act that way, and then develop the proper habits to deal with it.

Since people are by nature, resistant to change, it would be a challenge to stamp out that attitude in those that have nutured it.

A new culture needs to be developed that deems such behaviors as being wrong; it is easier to develop this in children when their behaviors and attitudes are easier to shape.

Because if everyone thought they were equal there would be peace and if this happens then we could not be controled and minipulated to believe we are different.

No Solution? That is non-sense...

People need to realise that all divisions in society are there to divide us into groups and then play them off each other. When this is realised, that we are all the same, that these divisions were created to "Divide and Rule" and to get "Order out of Chaos", you can imgine what life would be like...

A famous comedian once said "as long as there are white males, there will always be racism. It always begins with them. They always initiate it." Whites seem to hate blacks for no better reason than them looking "different". There is no rational reason to hate an entire group of people who have done nothing to you. Until that attitude changes, there will always be bigotry and racism.
