I have heard you should not have a tummy tuck until you have all your children. Is this true? If you did have a tummy tuck, were you happy with the results? Were you still happy after having the baby with the tummy tuck? Thanks for any answers given!

I've never had plastic surgery but u should definitley wait!! Having a tummy tuck then having more kids defeats the purpose of the tummy tuck in the first place. Your skin is going to stretch out again and you'll just have to get another t.tuck.

I would like to respond to the remark about exercise. Obviously you know very little about what can possibly happen to a woman's body after pregnancy. Some women are not as fortunate as your wife to have their bodies go back to "normal". I have had two children, very close together and am actually lower than my prepregnancy weight because of exercising. However, I do have a saggy stomach which will not go away no matter how many situps I do. It is skin that has been stretched like a rubberband but will not regain its original firmness. My only option is a tummy tuck. When I am done having children, I will look further into this option because there is nothing else I can do.

You will gain weight and ruin your tummy tuck. But it is well Worth it when you see your child for the first time after carrying it for nine months.

Wouldn't that be the logical thing? I mean, why have a tummy tuck, then stretch out your tummy with pregnancy? Defeats the purpose.......

Here's something different, how about doing a little EXERCISE.

You can find that word in the dictionary. My wife enjoys excercising and running and it didn't take long for her to be back in great shape after our daughter was born.

I think the biggest hurdle for Americans in the future is going to be problems related to obesity.

Why would you do that? It's major surgery, and unecessary. I'm sure you are a beautiful woman just as you are. Good luck, and please reconsider.
