I have the same problem. Someone keeps contacting me, but every time I attempt to contact them I get the "Oops" message. I do not have any problems with any other people & I know I am not blocked from contacting them.
It may be an error on the part of the receiver. I should really check with Yahoo, but somehow I cannot drag myself away from "Answers"!

sometimes, a failure message comes to your inbox because of many reasons;
1) Your contacts (friends, families, etc.) that you are sending has an error on their email address.

2) Sometimes Yahoo! has an error, also called the Error 999, which you are temporaily blocked from using Yahoo! Mail to view your emails (if you have this problem, type in Error 999 in the search box of Yahoo!, scroll down until you find a link saying a replacement or shortcut mail when it is temporaily down, reaching that page, showing up a gray one, scroll down again and you should be able to find a link where you could view your mail.)

3) You could send an email that might seem threatening because Yahoo! comes with Norton AntiVirus 2006, and can delete/send it your email back due to irrelevant stuff pertaining to that email.

Usually, #1, is what happens the most whenever you have a "Mailer Demon" coming back to you with an error.
***Check your contact email addresses and make sure it is correct or else you would have error email addresses and notices coming back to you.***

I guess the exact error message would help..

Usually its either an invalid email address (either non-existing or sometimes altered on purpose to thwart spambots), or another common failure for emails: lack of SMTP authentication when the server may require it..

If you post the exact error, I'm sure we can help! :)

Either you have the wrong address or your contact has a full inbox...this has nothing to do with Yahoo!

you misspelled the email address, the server you are sending to is offline or doesn't exist

The e-mail you are entering is wrong. Verify with the person what their e-mail is then try again.
