here are two of my favorites-----
#1-marsala #2- orange/galliano beurre blanc(butter sauce)- zest an orange, cut it in half. squeeze juice from orange into pan and throw in the zest. reduce it until thick and syrupy. add a big shot of galliano, and flame it. reduce it down , remove it from heat, and swirl in a few chunks of butter, constantly swirling the pan. finish it with some chopped parsley.

All of those answers are excellent! You can also try coating the skin of the chicken with a lemon sauce. couple tablespoons butter and a squirt of lemon. Add basil and melt in the microwave. pour mixture over chicken and bake or BBQ till done. The skin will be crispy and the lemon gives it a good flavor. Another good tip to make baking or BBQ chicken go faster....boil it first then bake it the rest of the way.

I enjoy ,making or creating my own sauces. One that is good with chicken is taking a little pineapple juice, a little lemon juice, and a little orange juice mix it together and then add a little hot sauce, some garlic powder and a sidge of brown sugar and top in off with paprika. Usually I spoon this on chiken right before I take it off the grill.

One jar of pineapple marmalade, one envelope of dry onion soup mix and a small bottle of catalina dressing. Mix and coat raw chicken before roasting, baking in oven, or grilling... Baste occasionally with a bit more...heat the remaining and serve as on side for additional dipping. My kids LOVE this one.
