You're so not an idiot! You love someone, plain and simple. My husband and I broke up before we were married for two years and I never stopped loving him. I knew that we were going to be together again, despite what everyone else told me. Now, 6 years later, we are happily married. Never stop loving that person, no matter what. Even if they dont come back into your life, the love you feel, and the pride that comes from that can never be taken away from you. You own those feelings...enjoy them!

It exists but is very rare. I think everlasting love is the love that only exists between soul mates that are supposed to be together in several lifetimes. True love is love that is shared between two people who genuinely care about each other. Love is just a feeling that is created from friendship. Love also could be love for a sister, mother, or other family member. I believe others have found everlasting love, but I probably won't (at least this lifetime). But then again I may...but I'm not going to unnecessarily get my hopes up lol. Nice song by the way! Hi Lotte,
Yes you are an idiot.
and believe me, you are talking to one.
This world is full of such idiots.
okay back to the question.
Yes, the feeling is magical.
If you are in love, you know no boundaries.
You are in touch with your highest self, hence all the feelings
- respect
- faith
- worship
- trust
and above all 'LOVE' surfaces.
so, don't let this feeling go.
Lastly words of wisdom
'These times are when the foundation of a strong love is built'
- like before actually building a tall structure, a deep hole is made.
Cheers,

Your not an idiot. Honestly your going to get hurt either the way you go. If the guy left you its time to move on. It may feel good to love right now but you will find the right person for you. It takes a while to find him. If you love this guy then there is always going to be a place in your heart for him but take a chance and start dating. It doesn't matter how old you are you can still date and get to know guys who are more like you. Or if you like guys to argue with you then find one of them. They aren't hard to find. I know what your going through. Your might be setting yourself up for disappointment but you can get over that by taking your mind off of that one person you love. I think that love can evolve and change, just as we all do. The first stages of puppy love change to a more mature, understanding love as the relationship matures. I have been with my husband 15 years. Our relationship has evolved with homes, children, job changes, and everyday life. I still love him, but in a different, wonderful, more complete way.

I do believe in ever lasting love because my husband and I have been married for 23 years and we have been though a lot.
Money problems, health problems, children problems and etc.
We pray before we got married and its been by the grace of God and commitment that we are still together.

Human love is not everlasting because as soon as you die it is no more.
You can be sincere to you self, go to this man and tell him of your filling if he accept fine if not go on with life.
Who knows he may be filling the same way as you are filling
Good luck!

All that love you have for him, you need to shower yourself with it. He seems to be not in love or doesn't share the same feeling for you. Love everlasting, only in the movies.
