For me, it really doesn't hurt. We're living in a world where people are intermixing so much, what does it matter? I am an American, I have German, Native American, and a few other nationalities in me. I don't care what people think, as it was said earlier, it is the person who insults who is filled with personal ignorance. To everyone that takes offfence to racist remarks, I say this, "Be proud of who you are and of what God made you to be."

A racist comment attacks a person for who they are and reduces their dignity.

Anything that reduces a persons dignity is hurtful and wrong.

I suggest you watch the movie, BILLY JACK. There is a scene where some kids go into an ice cream parlor for cones and are refused service because they are not white. Watch that film and you will see and hear the answer to your question.
