Most women notice the baby kicking sooner in subsequent pregnancies. Not because second and third babies kick sooner, but because the woman knows what to look for. If it's your first pregnancy, you might think you have gas when it's actually the baby moving.

As for twins, I dunno...I imagine they kick about the same time as single births.

my second pregnancy was twins and I dont know if its because it was twins or because I knew what to expect the second time, but I felt movements from about 14 weeks. It just felt like butterflies at first but I knew it was movements because I'd had a baby before. I'd love to feel that again but I've been diagnosed with PCOS since so it's not likely I'll have that chance again :-(

Take care and good luck with the stopping smoking xxxxxx

I'm pregnant with my second child and amazingly I've been feeling movement since the 12th week! Prior to this, though, my OB/GYN told me I could expect feeling movement around 16 weeks with my second pregnancy.

I felt a fluttering sensation around 15 weeks.......but I suppose it could have been gas............real movement started around 21 weeks.
