I agree with C P R. We are being punished, but in a sutle way. Also, The whole world in general is being hit pretty hard by nature (but just so you know, i'm an atheist). We've got tsunami's hittin' pretty hard, hurricanes all over, and if you don't know, The NorthWestern coast is the mostlikely nest spot for a tsunami (I live there- Yikes!). Actaully, if I got the tile right, watch North Western Disaster. If You're in OR, there are up to 30 ways you can die at any moment by natural disasters. And the rest of the country is in the 10 ways to die region. Yeah, we're being punished all right!

Of course we are being punished. 9/11 was a direct result of or failure to put Afghanistan back together after the Russians left in the 70's. We were the ones supplying weapons to the Afghan rebels back then. when the Russians left did we help rebuild the country? No! Instead we pulled out as well and left them to their own devices. The Taliban came in in and brought order to the chaos we help create. Granted the Taliban brought their order to the area which we didn't realize was a threat until it was to late. Our history is riddled with this kind of government meddling. Frankly it's my opinion that we are not done being punished.

Have you looked around lately? People are fat, uneducated, stuck in a rut. Remember what the history books said Rome was like before it fell? Our turn is coming very soon. Kharma is gonna bite real hard!

"We" must mean "we Americans" since the only country in the world that has never agreed to sign international law treaties regarding human rights issues (or almost any other issue for that matter) is the USA.
So "we" has it's own laws, that apply to "we" and to "they" but "they" want to have a common legal ground but "we" doesn't like that.
