most people get tattoos because they want it on them permanently (at the time) and a few years goes by and then they realize it may not have been the greatest idea.. so i think it would be good and bad.. because the people that DO want them permanently (i.e. in rememberance of a lost loved one) might be a little upset if it just dissapears one day. but all that aside.. i love tattoos! i have four and I'm getting a new one this weekend.. yayyyy (=
good invention for those who are indecisive.. because they have the option of having that ink used and then if they have it for two years.. and decide they REALLY like it there... they can always go get it done with the ink that stays. (=

Yes i do think it is a good invention....many could have the choice of getting a permanent one for the rest of their lives or try one out if they are unsure about the specific tattoo for 1-2 years. Being naive i recently got a tattoo,of coarse hiding it from my parents since i am sixteen, and i kind of wished that i would have waited 2 more years so that i could have gotten the tattoo where i pleased instead of putting it in limited areas where my parents wouldn't see it. Now that i regret my tattoo i wish something like the invention you talked about was around.
what made you bring that up???and Is there actually something like that already invented???

Great idea. Often young adults think the tattoo is interesting, even art. Later they find themselves locked out of professional careers ( i.e. airline pilots) because the tattoos are visible or become gang related . Many females get cute cartoon tattoos
or flowers or poorly designed and executed tattoos covering their lower backs. After a few months they wish they had never had them. Conventional plastic surgery removal is often expensive and involved. Fading ink is a great idea.

Not at all. I got my first tattoo the day I turned 18. I have 3 to this day, and I am only 21. I (unlike a lot of people) thought out my tattoos very carefully to make sure I would never regret them in the future. I still love all 3 to this day.
Tattoos are meant to be permanent.
you just have to make sure you get something you won't regret.

Yes I think it's a Great Idea!
Tattoos are great when you're younger, and honestly I don't think tattoos when I'm 60 yrs old are going to look that "Sexy" anymore. So the temporary is a great idea, and good for those who put the "Love" of there life's name on, and turns out they weren't lol.
It also lets you see if you are really ready for that big of a change to your body ;)
Now if they could just get rid of the needle part I'd be okay... ;)

Definitely. SO many people get tattooed for the wrong reasons, and then regret it. Letting a tattoo fade is much easier then getting it laser-removed. I think many people who use Henna would like tattoos that are not forever.

NO that doesnt sound like a good thing.
tattoos are not meant to be temporary .. thats what stickers are for.
I dont think that tattoos would be taken as seriously as they are now if they "disappered" in 2 years.
I think too that it would encourage alot of people to become "scratchers" instead of professional , well trained artists.
I can not see good things coming from this.

no it takes away from the history of a tatu. tatus mark a place in you life. you will always remember the people in your life when you got it, as well as the whole experience. tatus are meant to be permanent and if you are going to get one that goes away in 2 years why get it at all? you skin is a canvas , use it!! i take it that this "temperay" tattoos were invented by someone who doesn't have them. if you want you tattoo to go away after a while go to toys'r'us and get the one that go on with water.

I think its a good invention. I made the mistake years ago with having my boyfriend's name tattoo on me. I had to get it covered with another tattoo.

ive never heard of that. im going to ask my tat artist if there is any truth to it. personally i wouldent be interested in getting a tattoo that just eventually fades away , its silly. there is a lot of thought, effort, time and money that are put into my tattoos, i get them done because i WANT them to be around, not fade away in a couple of years. those who are serious about their body art im sure would agree.
