Is Cadillac planning to offer a 50th Anniversary replica of the 1959 El Dorado?

Could they use fibreglass body panels and use the latest safety, emissions, accessories in a new car that looks like the '59 classic?

My God! A four ton 10 MPG chrome plated behemoth with fins and rocket tail lights. It could not possibly be a true replica because the EPA and DOT have made it impossible to recreate the exact car. Maybe one like the T-Bird re-introduction, where it is really just a regular model off the line with a few styling gimmicks.
