yes, it means he sees your view points & respects you. but he needs to quit for himself - otherwise he might come to resent you for making him quit or he'll go back to using it.

thats an absolute great thing. especially if he continues and its not just a temporary thing. iv been trying that w myn and he wotn stop. bc it just leads on to more and heavier drugs. and he has not stopped and its caused nothinig but problems w us. ur lucky, honestly!

just make sure he wont throw it back in your face. it is a good thing because he respects you and was willing to make that sacrifice for you

Yes and No. Its nice that he cares enough for you to do something like that, but he may later feel that you forced him to do it. (even if you didn't)
