yes they have certainly improved with the return of the fantastic ballack...he seems to have brought out the confidence and fight in them... podolsky was awesome last match... i hear my team manchester united have been lookin at him... so he can't be bad.. maybe we will meet in the final... but spain and argentina look the biz too... we are just holdin on... i hope we have another gear cos this one we are on now just wont do!

I think Ecuador didn't play well enough.
All the big teams, Germany included, will have to prove themselves when they meet real competition.

It was the best played game by Germany, so far. The offensive was clicking very well. Good win.
