I never heard of the cheater that cheated ONLY once! I don't think its cool to give a cheater another chance. I say this because its the second chance that tells them they can continue to cheat and get a way with it AGAIN! If a cheater got dumped the first time...there would be a lot less cheating in the world.

once a cheater always a cheater. Next time they'll just be more careful about it. I'm sure there are exceptions but how will you ever know if they still are? It comes down to a big trust issue. If you keep tabs you look like you don't trust. If you don't keep tabs, you just gave them a longer leash to hang themselves on.

I think they could change but not with someone they already cheated on. I do believe that in their next relationship they could be faithful, but could easily go back to cheating and again, being more careful about it this time

I beleive once a man cheats on you and you take him back.. that lets him know that he can do no wrong in your eyes. But, I do feel once a cheater always a cheater.. maybe not necessarily with another woman.... what I am trying to say is, just becuase he cheats on you doesn't mean he will cheat on all of his girlfriends.

However, my "exboyfriend" had a baby that he didnt' tell me about... I accepted that because it was before me. However, now he has a baby due in July... we were living together when she got preganant... but I should have known better.. cause he was cheating on her, so why wouldn't he cheat on me.

once a cheater always a cheater. but that doesn't stand for every man or woman everybody is different it depends on if their heart is in the right place or not. You never know what they're gonna do till they do it. Quit worrying about it and make them not want to by well you know how.

On "cheater, always a cheater"... NO! If I would believe in that, then, I would also believe that a flirty girl will always and forever be flirty. But I don't!
Give the guy another chance. Everyone deserves a second chance... but not a third or a fourth!!
If the time comes... dump him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! if a guy decides to cheat on you it means that he's thought deeply about the relationship he's in and what he wants, and came to the conclusion that you're not it, or at least not anymore. A lot of other variables have to be taken into account here, like trust, communication, and truth, and a definite lack of them now that he's cheated. How do you rebuild the relationship? You can't keep an eye on him 24/7 or make him sit at home all day! You love him or at least care deeply for him, and you have to remember that if the feeling were mutual he would have never cheated. A lot of guys say that it was just sex, that that's all they wanted, well they can get that from who they're already with and if not the relationship just needs to be ended.

There are cheaters and secret cheaters. You chose. Eventually most everyone becomes at least a secret lover given enough time.
