next time he is tlaking to your friend go over there and be like "what are you guys talking about.." and then just casually ask your friend and him if they want to go to the movies. Later your friend will become suddenly "ill" and unable to go to the movies thus leaving you and will on a first date!

As a dudes perspective on this one. That means hes liked you for a while and has now got the courage to take action. Go talk to him, dont ask it he likes you or that your friend told you. Thats really wierd for the guy
