It depend on what you want. If you are content with the idea that your car starts and doesn't ping or knock then yeah, 87 octane is fine but, just like a thread that I have going on about AMSOIL http://www.firstandfinestsynthetics.com/ synthetic motor oils, if you want the BEST for your car, then expect to pay for it. Its more than "just oil" and 89 or 93 octane is more than "just gas". Higher octane fuels burn more efficiently, netting more MPG than lower octane fuel.

The value of that coin is still 10 cent and it is still in use in Singapore today. Even though it is quite difficult to buy something with 10 cent, the 10 cent may come in quite useful if the amount totals up to less than a dollar. Singapore also have a 1 cent coin but hardly anyone uses it these days. The 5 cent coin is not very common but there are still some people who still uses the 5 cent coin for convenience.

Only if your car knocks on the manufacturer specified 87 octane. If you don't have a knock problem on 87 octane, the mid-grade is a waste of money. It's NOT better "quality" fuel, just higher octane. Octane relates to a fuel's anti-knock capabilities and has nothing directly to do with performance or economy.

If you auto calls for regular then use regular anything else is a waste of money. If your car was timed with premium it might ping a little if happens reset timing.

Run the cheaper grade. If your car doesn't start pinging or any other noticeable problems, you're ok to run the 87 octane.

depends on your vehicles make model year engine size and such but if it is just a basic car not a sports car, luxery, or suv no it is not. sports cars run their best on premium, luxeries run good on mid to premium, and suvs get better performance out of mid grade.
