Electrical engineer. There are too many lawyers.

You could do both. I worked with several engineers who went to night school and got law degrees.

Actually many of the skills that serve engineers well also serve lawyers well. The ability to organize facts, understand details, think logically, and be able to solve problems.

I have a Master's Degree in EE, and I am almost certain I can't get a career out of it thanks to Bush's crap policies and our crap business climate.

I hate lawyers, but if it must be one or the other, be a lawyer. It looks to me right now like a much more stable profession!

It all depends on the person! You definitely need a different skill set for each job. Study the skills/personality types who succeed at each job and decide which one you're more like!

Which do you enjoy more: fact checking and arguing those facts, or figuring out how to take things apart and/or fix them?

if you like writing & learning about the legal system... lawyer
