Whatever happened to Kevin Cogan?

Kevin was a hot young Penske driver in 1982 when he spun on the front straight into A.J., and then Mario T-Boned him. The resulting melee took out about six or seven cars. All before the green flag. A few years later he was in the most frightening crash I've ever seen at Indy, ending up upside down on pit lane. I'd be curious where he is now and what he's doing.
