I think it was a step in that direction, but no. Nothing yet. From what I can tell, the Mark of the Beast needs the Beast around first (not a ruler yet, though he might be alive), and worship is a part of taking it. So, we are still waiting for a 10 nation confederacy to form in the northern to eastern Middle Eastern area (from a part of Turkey to Iran, possibly southern Afghanistan, including Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, possibly northern Jordan), the Antichrist (the Beast in some contexts), will be one of the rulers of those 10 nations.

Not really, soical security i.ds have played out about six years ago once the new milleniunm came true. Right this minute there are about an estimated 30 million stolen SS.IDs since 2003. However, the "mark" of the beast will be a highly advanced microchip installed in the celebrum, part of the brain that will completely seal the fate of all those scaredy cats who are afraid of falling out of sleep. Go figure!!!!!

I am afraid you are wrong those with Gods seal ( The Holy Spirit ) cannot be given the Mark of the Beast. and every one has a Social security Number. it is not a Mark any way it is a Stigma and 666 has nothing to do with it it is Anti-Christ or Anti Anointed.

no, the mark of the beast in Revelations is said to come after those who are true Christians have been taken into heaven. as we have not seen that happen it's not possible. Plus, what about the rest of the world, they don't have Social Security numbers do they?

no. a mark of the beast will be labeled on your forehead. you can buy goods and receive services even if you do not have a ssn.
