Anyone know why Muslims didn't follow the Geneva Convention?

The Geneva Convention is followed by countries, not fanatic individuals.

As another person mentioned, the Geneva Convention is for countries at war to follow so their armies can conduct a war as 'humanely' as possible. Therefore, since the people still fighting in Iraq are not a formed army representing a country, then they do not have to follow Geneva. Also, we have a President who has broken the Geneva convention rules, many times, during our time in Iraq, so can we expect our enemies to follow rules that we ourselves break?

First of all, the generalisation of all Muslims is not productive.
Second, it's countries who sign, ratify and follow Geneva Conventions.
Third, U.S. Army has itself committed violations of Geneva Convention (signing and ratifyin by "civilized "parliament) in Abu Ghraib, Haditha and etc. naming these and other civilian deaths as "collateral damage".
Fourth, what terrorists are supposed to do with captured U.S. Marines or, even worse, so-called "civilian contractors", who are worse than anybody, because they fight for money (as old as ancient mercenaries) - such guys are beheaded not only in Iraq, but also in Burundi or Congo. Soldiers do understand that they are risking their lives for high morals and ideals so therefore they should be ready to meet death in battlefield and die fighting till last breath. Of course, beheading is too much.. But I never heard that U.S. Coalition has ever exchanged prisoners with rebels either in Iraq or Afghanistan?

Al-quida is not a part of any convention they are Ignorant Hoodlum's. and do not understand Civilized People. They are Dieing to go to a higher power. they should just do them selves in. Also I know all Muslims are not this cruel.

First of all don't make generalizations like "Muslims". There are very few extreme sects who commit acts like that. Second, its not like all nations will follow the convention. You can find instances of every nation violating it if you look hard enough.
