I get such a kick out of the people that take everything so seriously. I shared an analogy when another questioner asked for an original thought...

I think cheating is wrong. Not that it is anyone's place to be condescending about it if I was a big ole cheater and test drove all the cars in the world. ha ha
Thanks for all the comments from the people with a sense of humor!

Have you guys also noticed how serious some people take questions that are OBVIOUSLY a joke?
Personally it cracks me up.

it's pretty hard to find someone with a warped sense of humour like mine, everybody seems so serious on yahoo answers, and in life in general? i dont think a lot of people read the answers that people have aready answered half the time? One person that i think is really funny is mark_lederer! he asks really amusing stuff and gets so many serious answers along with the odd remark about him not being funny! me and a friend emailled him to tell him to keep up the good work, and hes just as funny then aswell! it really does take someone with abit of brains, to get a joke and make it into a question, or for someone to discribe cheating the way you did!!....wish the prats that get stroppy or serious used their brains b4 they answered, instead of making themselves out to look silly! Keep u the clever work...shouldnt be MissCantBeWrong...more like MissCleverClogs!!!!

Humor often does not come across in the Internet. People cannot see your face and are very limited in "bandwidth." My son considers the three stooges very funny. I don't see the humor. I love Gallagher for example, or George Carlin or Abbot and Costello. Humor is only humor if the other person gets the joke. If you have to explain it, it isn't funny.

I've read some questions on there that I thought "This HAS to be a joke" but then I think of some people I've met in my life who have asked similar type questions - and they weren't joking! *blink* *blink*

My thoughts are if somebody wants jokes - they should stick to the JOKES & RIDDLES section. If you post in other areas, expect a more serious answer.

Sometimes I may post a Wise $#@ answer, only to follow it up with "But really ... in answer to your question ........."

I don't know where everyone else happens to be, but I myself have a great sense of humor. You have to these days. Life is so hectic, you need humor to help avoid all the stress.

There are alot of people that take things way too seriously here on Yahoo Answers. They seem to think that their answer will change lives or something like it.
