My exhusband and I were 2gether for almost 5years. We were seperated for a cpl months before our divorce. The divorce was finalized a cpl of weeks ago. A few minutes ago, I heard from his brother in law(which is a good friend of mine, still)that my ex is dating someone else, and also has moved and sold our house(which was sold off to pay past debt..P.S Should I take him back to court to get some of that house value? He is selling it to pay back the rent debt)Now that these things are going on, dating someone..basically moving on..how should I feel and deal with it?

You said you got a divorce....then get over him and forget him. If you think you deserve some of the money yes take him back to court but i wouln't if you are upset that he has moved on and is with another woman. You may be upset with him during this process but if you rush a judgement it could cost you.

Sounds like the money is going to pay debts that you both had together. Nothing you can do about his moving on, it's what happens after a divorce.

Don't do vengeful things just because you heard he is moving on in his life. Didn't you want the divorce? The court should have settled all the money issues. If he had to pay debts, weren't they yours also? I think your just hurt because he is moving on. Don't be like that. Wouldn't you want him to be happy for you if you found someone that made you happy? People are too vengeful. Just be happy for him.

I would think the house issue would have been taking care of through the divorce. If your entitled or were entitled to money from the sale of the house I would take him back to court.

Just let your ex go and let him live his life and you move on with yours. Yes you may want some of the house value but that should be it. Let him go and you need to live your life and go on with yours. Do not look back.

If you have friend who is a lawyer, pls do consult his/her advises. Basically, if the house has your name with your ex, I think you should also be entitled for the value if the house has been sold.

you can refile but I don't know, it might be too late.
