As of today it is James Patterson, Christopher Paolini, and John Marsden. I love fantasy and science fiction and these books definitely fit the parameters. My favorite Patterson book is Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. Fav Paolini is Eragon, sorry to all the Eldest fans I preferred Eragon over Eldest. Fav Marsden book is Tomorrow. When the War Began. These are all very good books. I would suggest them to anyone in between the ages of 11 and 75 (I say 75 because most people after 75 have trouble reading even with glasses).
