It would only take once. If you are thinking of cheating, the Bible says that you are wrong. The Bible says that a man should remain with his wife and not cheat. If you do cheat and eventually the wife finds out or in some cases the children find out, all parties are hurt no matter what they say, and a marriage and a home may be destroyed. If the wife and the husband decide to remain together"for the sake of the children" nothing is ever the same. The children will look at their parents differently. They will see their parents as hypocrites because the children will at the very least sense that their Mom and Dad don't love each other so how could they possibly love the child even though Mom and Dad tell them "I love you." It is better not to cheat.

You know, I truly believe that it occurs very rarely. The unfortunate truth is that many (but not all) cheaters tend to be extremely selfish individuals with no regard for the feelings of the person (or persons) that they hurt. With that said, I think that it is more common for a cheater to stay in a long term relationship due to their reluctance to give up the stability and familiarity that usually comes along with it. In other words, that old addage "have your cake and eat it too" would be right on the money in this particular instance.

I would think they wouldn't leave the person until they are 'found out.' As long as their routines are working for them, why give up this double life? I'm sure that is what the cheater would be thinking. Get out of any cheating relationship immediately, you will end up being much more hurt if you wait. Good luck and best wishes.

I'll bet it is 50/50. Then there would be the doubt and wondering if the person they leave their old one with would cheat on them or vice versa. I think once a cheater, always a cheater.

Probably frequently as they are obviously not happry any longer. Then they probably will either get left my their new love or leave them too once the spark is gone.
