Can anyone tell me how to apply my icons that I saved on my computer?Its for IM.Im trying to apply them on my IM window but I dont know how to do it.

Right click on the file/program that you want to put the icon to, click properties and then click the customize tab. There should be a button that says "change icon" or something very similar. Click this button, click browse and then located the icon file you want to apply.

Depends on what type of IM? AIM? They have their own folders for icons so you have to be more specific.
To apply the icon change to a folder or file, you need to go to that folder or file and then right click on it. Go to Properties then go to the customize tab. There is a change icon below.
You can only use the .ico extensions on folders and files to change their icons. If youre talking about changing the smileys, thats a whole different thing.

right click the original file of Ur folder
Click Customize>Change icon then browse to Ur saved icon and apply it
if its a application with a .exe extention its no possible to change icon unless program itself support it.

Your question is not clear, however i understand you want to apply one icon to another one. just right click where on item where you want to apply any icon and
choose properties then change icon.
then locate which icon you want and apply it.
