DeNiro circa Cape Fear would have made a great Wolverine. He's got the height and build for it. In the comics Wolverine is 5'3" with far broader shoulders than Hugh Jackman has. Too bad DeNiro would never do it and is too doughy now.
Patrick Stewart was the perfect choice for Xavier, no question.
Also, to Callie: Psylocke, at least in her current incarnation, is Japanese. Ironically Kelly Hu, the one that played Deathstrike in X-Men 2 would have been pretty good. Unfortunately there's not a lot of young Asian actresses who can play total badasses. They usually come off all meek and timid.

I think that one of the things that made all X-men movies exceptional is the cast. My only problem is with Halle Berry as Storm in X-Men 3. She is not suited for that part.
I would also cast Liv Tyler as Rogue. It would make her condition even more dramatic.

For one, I would have casted Germany's goalkeeper Oliver Kahn as Wolverine.
He's got the build and the side burns.
The only thing he needs is to dye his hair black.
On a side note, I was disappointed Gambit didn't an appearance in any of the 3 installments. :(

i replaced right into a fan of the tale for years.. i did watch all 3. wasnt all that inspired with it far because the tale is going idea they screwed it up too a lot.. and no that prof x is lifeless.. and that quite erked me no longer effective if its going everywhere anymore.. distinctive the individuals i understand wasnt happy with the route it went ether....

jean grey..famke was kinda old...rogue will have to be rachel bilson(from The OC) and liev-something german surname guy to play wolevrine..he's sooo hot!baldy prof x, i think he's cool..storm..halle berry was stunning..somehow i dont like her hairsyle abit..abit so skunk-looking...
