I don't really like soccer that much, but as the world cup has been continueing I have found a new interest when there's nothing on the TV. What do you guys think of french player Zidane who is retiring after this world cup and France's performance in the cup a few days ago

He was one the best player ever. He could do something out of nothing. In the 1998 world cup, he was magnificent.I wish he was playing for my country, and we have extraordinary players ourselves. Too bad, he is past his prime. Happens to everybody.

Zidane was one of the top 3 players in the world when France won the cup in 1998, but now he's on the tail end of a very good career. As for the French, I hate to say it, but without Cisse, they don't have the firepower they need to put in any goals - Henry can't do it alone. It looks like it may be another short cup for France.

He's a good player, but in soccer you cannot play when you get a little too old.
