i prefer nets but my boyfriend thinks they are for old people so he prefers blinds. i like nets because i like privicy but they do tend to block the air out a bit if its hot and stuffy but blinds blow in the wind and will get sucked out of the window if its windy and break. its all personal opinion

blinds. nets r a bit grannyish unless u go for a cool design and like tie them at the sides so that they dont cover the whole window

blinds are much smarter! Nets are for being nosy and are a bit chinzy!

Depends on the room....bathrooms...I like both..
Bedrooms...nets usually sheer and I hate the "Peeping Tom" aspect...Living Rooms, yes. Lots of sunlight and who cares if other people can see...but you might also think about having someone able to see in at all your valuables...easily cased for burglary...so If you live in a high rise....can other apartments see into yours' and what will sunlight do to your carpet and sofas...window tinting has been another answer for the "No window treatment" look.

i am about to move into a brand new house, they are still plastering it as i type this.... and i will be buying blinds, so much smarter looking than nets and curtains.

Nuffink ... I HATE nets ... Roman blinds are cool ... Venetian are ghastly - you want to look like an office at home?
