Pros:
Great jobs in all fields are available and access to more free events and programs than anywhere else.
You'll have culture, fashion, history, and the future all in your backyard.
There are no clubs anywhere that can compare to New York. Same goes for restaurants.
You'll develop the same smug sense of self satisfaction that all Manhattanites have and are entitled to.
You don't need a car.
You'll find ways to get things cheap.
The crime rate is better there than in any other big city in the US...it's true!
Everything you do will seem very very important.

Pros: It is huge. Lots of jobs, culture, things to do. A lot of places are open 24 hours a day. Lots of public transit.
Cons: VERY expensive, lots of people, high crime, noisy.
