People tell me I’m an incredible problem-solver and brainstormer. At a store I owned people would come in and talk for hours. I’d help them navigate challenges, dilemmas, feelings, etc. Not like a therapist, just as an idea person.

Can I charge for these services? Like set hour appointments for $50?

Have you heard of people being a professional muse?

Do you know of any online links?

Thanks!

I'm sure you are quite inspiring, but the position that you describe is more appropriately called Life Coach. A certificated Life Coach (this training is done in a very short time-often a week or weekend, or even home study set of courses) can help people to get their priorities in order, to make major decisions, and to set life plans. They can charge over $200.00 per hour for this service in major cities, once established. Please see the websites below for more information, and good luck!

I would rather give a "massage therapist" $50 an hour to be a muse.

You can charge for anything you want, so long as someone is willing to pay it. Just make sure you don't guarantee results or else you're in line for a lawsuit.

Of course! You can charge for anything. As long as people keep paying, keep charging.
