And how would I match up the shade?

The proper way to do it is to take off all tiles and mix the old with new ones. If you are just replacing a tile here and there, you don't need to worry about the shade.
Any paint you might use will flake off in a couple of years, which on my opinion looks much worse.

depending where the repir is ie:not recommened to go up on main roof without scaffolding,there are afew paints etc you can get from good roof supplies,where all the builders etc go,
moores roofing,direct roofing supplies, jewsons also do something that will do,personally id leave for short while and you will find it will fade,blend in otherwise use second hand tiles etc from good reclaimers, THNX

YES, USE SANDTEX, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THEM ALL.
