I'm an American. I have a English Language training center for mostly elementary school aged students in China. I just bought my first classroom and have to design and decorate it. What are some great and lively ideas? I am a big fan of BEES.

Check out some really cool websites to order classroom materials from. Some of them are listed below. Also, the Oriental Trading Company has some ideas for bulk items you might want to use in the classroom. You could brighten and Americanize the room by using red, white and blue colors for your theme. Maybe hang an American flag in the room along with the Chinese flag. But the sites below have some great ideas and also aren't terribly expensive. Good luck!

you can put up the Declaration fo Independence, American Money, Lyrics to songs about the U.S., The American Alphabet, ,Make everything a red, white and blue theme.

put a lot of patriotic colors (red, white, and blue). Have a poster of the presidents or something, and maybe some celebrities

Put in a lot of very large, fat fake people. I'm kidding of course, but that would certainly make it look more like America these days.

Put alot of americana stuff in it. Flags, posters, cut outs, signs, pictures, and stuff like that. Put alot of animals found in america in it to, alot of little kids like animals.
