It's gonna be hot, and in the middle of hurricane season, so make sure you check the weather just before you go.

It depends on where you go. If you go to south Florida, it is extremely hot and very humid. If you go out at night, expect the hot and humid weather to follow. However, if you are looking just to go to the beach, then that's not too bad of an idea. Just remember to keep track of all storms, because you are coming during the peak of hurricane season. (June 1st -November 1st.)
Now, if you are traveling up towards the Gainesville/Jacksonville/St. Augustine area, we don't have the humidity like down south, and the nights are just a bit cooler. However, you still always have to worry about the hurricanes.

It's not a bad idea but it will be hot and humid, you're looking at 80s, 90s, and above for temperatures.

Kids are back in school, ocean is still nice and warm, yes the weather is hot, but the crowds are down. I'd say October was better though.

It is hotttttttttt, but way less packed. The crowds are down in theme parks and such. I would suggest going in November though
