Even the first place you look (if found) would be the last place because you would stop looking!

i guess what you wanna say is tht u find it in the last place we think of.
yah we get misled through so many false starts and hopes and find what we want when we always knew at the bottom of our hearts it would be. but perhaps we are too afraid to face the prospect that we start looking in the right place straightaway but god forbid what if we dont find it there? there goes our last resort.

so perhaps we look through all the less likely places and then to the real one

the very last place you look is the least obvious place and once located there is no need to keep looking for teh item. Thus the very last place you look you will find the item at hand.

Regardless of how long you've been looking, you always find what you're looking for in the last place you look. Once you find it, you don't need to keep looking.
